Summary: To master these avenues; to completely control our intentions, to master our actions, to hold in complete control our affections.

ACTIONS, INTENTIONS, AND AFFECTIONS

*** This is dealing with the soul’s realm.

*** The soul is made up of these three things; Mind, Will, and Emotions.

*** Intentions, actions, and affections are each influential to these soul avenues.

*** We have a promise from God to posses the promise land of our soul, and that we can give glory to the Lord.

1 Cor 6:19-20

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

(NKJ)

*** To master these avenues; to completely control our intentions, to master our actions, to hold in complete control our affections.

*** But in order to do that we must be the navigator of our soul; we must SET the course and stay with it.

Col 3:2

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

(KJV)

*** If we feel ourselves getting off course any at all, stop then, and renew our mind, will, and emotions so that our soul would be stirred to revival.

Rom 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
