Summary: When you can’t change the wind, adjust your sails. God has promised He will be our anchor. Let’s examine it together!

INTRODUCTION

The anchor. How important is it? Anyone with any sense would tell you "Never leave shore with out one..."

Hundreds of stories could be written about the times ones anchor saved a lot of heartache, time and money!

The Christian life is a lot like a ship out on the sea. Storms can come from out of nowhere and come they do.

Like a ship we too have an anchor, His name is Jesus. Let’s examine severals thoughts about this.

MAIN DIVISION

I. He Is An Anchor That Is Sure (19a)

II. He Is An Anchor That Is Stedfast (19b)

III. He Is An Anchor That Is Sacred (19c)

Conclusion: In the midst of it all, the storms, the enemy, I don’t have to hold onto my Anchor, He holds onto me!

Jesus is anchor for the soul when all hell broke loose safe and secure while the BILLOWS roll fasten to the rock grounded firm and deep in the saviors love
