Summary: Young people are often an "inconvenience" to those of us in the church. We want to do ministry to and with children and youth, but we do not want to neglect what we think is really important- the adults.

A great way to Christ is to see the world through the eyes of young people.

Too often, young people are like an itch in the middle of your back that you just can't reach. It's there and we need to do something about it, but we don't know what. We need to look at young people, children and teens, the way that Jesus did.

1. We need to be converted as little children. (v. 3)This means that we need to turn from sin and turn toward God.

2. We need to be humble as children. (v. 4) Children are open, trusting, eager and full of faith. They see everyone as equal. In fact, the grace of God makes us all equal.

3. We need to receive children. (v. 5) We need to encourage our young people by spending time with them and discipling them.

This is the responsibility of every Christian.
