Kaleidoscope

• How do you describe a baby born of a virgin?

• How do you describe God in flesh?

• How do you describe that which is spirit?

• How do you describe what is indescribable?

• How do you describe of Jesus Christ

I. Unspeakable In Its Freeness

1. We are undeserving of His gift of salvation

- We have no claim to salvation

- We are rebellious, deliberate, willful sinners

2. This gift was never desired on our part while in our far country

- This gift was planned before the world began.

II. Unspeakable In Its Worth.

1. In His person. He is perfect man and glorious God.

2. In His condescension.

- Can any one measure or describe how far Christ stooped?

3. In His death.

4. In His glory. When we think of His resurrection, of His ascending to the right hand of God

5. In His chosen.

John 15:16 (AV)

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

.

(3) THE VICTORY OVER DEATH & IT’S STING

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

John 4:14 (AV)

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
