FROM SINS CONSEQUENCES?

2nd PETER 2 : 4 - 9

Listen Church today, Sin is a rebellion toward

the Lord!

Sin has several forms – Sin is Disobedience

Sin is accusing – Sin is ignoring God!

Sin is not loving your neighbor!!

Sin is committing adultery and Fornication!

Sin has so many consequences that

I could probably go on all day and all night

But I probably better not!!

So many times today when people sin they don’t

Realize the impact it’ll have on them and God!

You shouldn’t desire to sin because it can

Sometimes be catastrophic.

And whether you can feel sins impact or not,

It’s still a reality and God Feels IT too!!

Sin effects us Physically!

Sexual sin produces sexually transmitted diseases

Such as Hepatitis, Aids, Herpes, and the list

Of Venereal Diseases goes on and on and on!

Some sin may cause you to die or to be put in

Jail or in the Hospital!

Some can cause Brain Damage Like Alcohol Abuse

Or Drug Abuse.

Sin can cause physical punishment like

Smoking cigarettes causes cancer

And chewing tobacco causes mouth, tongue, and

Throat Cancer!

All sin produces bad consequences!

Sin also affects our conscience.

Or most commonly called GUILT!

Without God we really have no remedy

For Guilt.

Guilt can be mild or it can be overwhelming!

I’m sure that there have been people that have

Actually killed themselves because of Guilt!

Like The disciple Judas, He hung himself

because of his Guilt from leading those

people to Jesus.

Guilt produces side effects like;

Worry, Fear, Sadness, Despair, Rejection,

And So Very Much More!!!

Without God it’s very difficult to overcome

These problems that guilt can produce!

Sin also produces spiritual problems which

Affect people committing sins.

Sin separates us from God and it robs us

From the eternal reward that Jesus paid the

Price for, on the cross at calvary!

Sin will cause us to have spiritual death!

When all we have to do is repent and submit

Ourselves back into obedience to God and

That’s The Remedy for everything that

goes wrong.

Just keep in mind that there is no escaping

What lies beyond this life, We can experience

Eternal Life through Jesus Christ or we can

Experience eternal Death!

And that is what the devil wants!

If you have noticed the devil don’t bother

People living in sin too much, because he

Already has a hold on them.

But you give your life to Jesus and watch

Out, cause you are going experience some

Battles with Satan!!

And if you don’t battle Satan then you will

Experience Judgment Day!!

2nd Peter Chapter 2:4 - 9

For if God spared not the angels that sinned

But cast them down to hell, and delivered them

Into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto

Judgment.

And spared not the old world, but saved Noah

The eighth person, a preacher of righteousness,

Bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into

Ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly.

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked

For that righteous man dwelling among them in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Here is a place that nobody will escape,

And God knows how to punish the wicked

And he knows how to reward the righteous!

2nd Peter makes it very clear that there are

no exceptions to this law of God.

So whoever sins against God is doing major

Harm to themselves.

If you rebel against God you will be sent down

To Hell! That’s pretty simple!

I’ve heard that some people believe in a place

Called Purgatory or someplace between Heaven

And Hell.

I don’t know about you but I don’t believe in it!

There isn’t a place or state between the height of

Glory and the depth’s of misery, for you to find rest!

If we have salvation we will enjoy what God has

Provided for us, But if we live in sin then we will

Suffer in hell!!

Sin is the works of darkness, The Bible tells us

Not to fellowship with the unfruitful works of

Darkness.

Darkness is the wages of Sin! Darkness and misery and torment follow the darkness of sin!

If you don’t want to walk according to God’s

Direction, and stay in the lighted path, then

You will experience being deprived of the light.

If there are only a few righteous, they will be

Preserved, God wont destroy the Good with the bad.
