Isaiah 43:1b-3a. As GOD’s Children, HE takes us THROUGH Life’s Troubles
Isaiah 43:1-3 (KJV)
1…Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour:…
1 …Fear not: for I have redeemed you,
*We don’t need to fear, because HE has paid the price for us.
I have called you by your name;
*HE calls us by our own name, because HE knows your name. HE knows who you are…
you are mine.
*HE is responsible for us, we are HIS, and we need to realize this key point
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
*When we go through the rough seasons, HE IS THERE
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you:
*HE helps us through the troubled times, and they will not overcome us
when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned;
*Life’s troubles can put us in the fiery furnace, but we will not be consumed
*THROUGH, not stopped mid way, not the end of the line or a dead end. But “THIS TOO SHALL PASS”.
As a dear child of GOD, called by name, as HIS possession and keepsake, HE will see you…
neither shall the flame harm you
*When we go through the worst of times, we will be harmed.
3 For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour…
*OUR GOD IS THE LORD, our Savior, Redeemer and King.
Lamentations 3:22-26 HIS MERCIES ARE RENEWED DAILY – OUR DAILY PORTION
22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
*Each and every morning is a new start. HIS Mercies are renewed for you today, and the next and the next...
24 The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
*Each morning, we receive our portion of the LORD for that day. HOPE in HIM.
25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
*HE is good to you when you will serve (do) and wait (time) on HIM.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
*GOD IS GOOD and with that understanding we should both hope and wait for HIS response.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
*Be content. HE will never leave nor forsake HIS own.
Are you a CHILD of the LORD GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER?
Put your trust in the PERFECT FATHER who has your best interest and purpose in HIS MIND.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
*HE will continue to work in you until HE has completed you!
