At The Forks Of The Road, Which Way Will You Go?

AT THE FORKS OF THE ROAD

WHICH WAY WILL YOU GO??

ACTS 24:19-27

I’d like to start tonight by saying that everyone

That’s here is on their way to Heaven!!

But I can’t! Did you Hear Me???

I CANT!!!!!

When you’re at THE FORKS OF THE ROAD

Which way will you go??

There’s two directions you can choose tonight

I pray that you’re making the right one!!

According to the scriptures tonight obviously

Not everyone here is saved!

And if you’re not saved then I think you’re

At the forks tonight and its about time to choose!

Bro. Danny wants you saved tonight!

And I want you saved tonight!

WE WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN AND

WE WANT TO TAKE EVERYBODY

WITH US THAT WE CAN!!!

But most of all tonight,

GJESUS CHRIST wants you to be saved!!!

In every persons life I think that WE’RE ALL

offered God’s totally free gift of salvation

At least once and if you’re like me,

God;

Just keeps working on ya and you get offered

Salvation Many many more times than once!!!!

Some of us will accept right away and

Others will keep denying - accepting Christ

As their personal Savior!!!

And they’ll keep on that path and they’re

headed straight to HELL

Here in the book of Acts many times Paul sits in

The Judgment seat.

And He’s standing for what he believes

And for He’s preaching the Gospel of Jesus

Christ!!!

In the 24th Chapter of Acts - Paul

Has already testified in front of Felix

And told of the false accusations that

Were against him

He was accused by the high priest and the

elders for stirring up trouble in the synagogues

and among the people.

And after several days had passed - Felix and

his Wife Drusilla had sent for the Apostle Paul

to hear him concerning the faith

So basically they sent for Paul and he got all

Wound up and preached to this man Felix and

his wife and his preaching put a state of

deep conviction in his heart!!!

ARE YOU WITH ME SO FAR???

And in VS 25 our reading tonight tells us

That Paul preached Righteousness and

Temperance and Judgment and

The Bible says: that Felix trembled

As He heard Paul preach the word of God!

I’ve been there, and

I’m sure you’ve all been there

His heart began to melt down

Conviction set in on his soul

The Holy Ghost began to start working

Him over from the top of his Head to the

Tip of his Toe!

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE?????

Felix - just like you and me knew that

Paul was preaching nothing but the truth!

Now here was a man

Who was married to another man’s wife

The Name Felix within itself means pleasure

He was Licentious (or undisciplined behavior,

Especially a flagrant disregard of sexual restraints)

His passion didn’t have any reins

He had that attitude

You get all you can while you can

Eat drink and be merry

This man was nothing but a hell bound sinner

And Paul had the opportunity to preach to him

And he soaked it all in; BUT,

When it was all said and done

Felix let the devil keep him from accepting

Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and He

Didn’t get saved!!!!!

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE

SEEN THIS HAPPEN????

VS. 25 Says: Felix says

Go thy way for this time:

When I have a convenient season

I will call for thee!!!

People you better not be waiting for no

convenient time tonight!!!!!

If Jesus is knocking at your hearts door

You better let him in or you just might

Find yourself without him knocking anymore!

BRO. DANNY SENSED IN HIS SPIRIT THAT

WHEN HE RE-DEDICATED HIS LIFE

IT WAS HIS LAST CHANCE

HIS LAST CHANCE TO GET ON THAT

CHOO CHOO TRAIN FOR HEAVEN

YOU CAN’T GET SAVED PEOPLE

WHEN ITS CONVENIENT FOR YOU!

YOU BETTER LISTEN TO GOD

AND WHEN HE’S KNOCKING YOU

BETTER LET HIM IN!!!

YOU CAN’T GET SAVED WHEN YOU

THINK YOU’RE READY

YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY CAN’T

PRAY YOU THERE

AND YOUR PASTOR CAN’T PRAY YOU

THERE

AND YOUR AUNTS AND UNCLES

AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS

NOR ANYBODY ELSE CAN PRAY

YOU THERE!!!!

I’ve heard people say well I got stuff

To get straightened up before I can get saved

Or I’m just not ready right now

Or I’ll get saved when I get good and ready

Or I think I’m going to heaven cause

I’m a good person!!!

Or I don’t think I’m interested right now!!

In today’s world its sad how people react when

You give them an invitation to a Revival

or you give them a gospel tract

They’ll shove it right back at you and tell you

That they’re not interested!!
