Never waste your time, energy, and life to those people who thinks they’re always better than anyone else - and those with appetites’ impossible to be satisfied!

Why?

1. You can never satisfy them!

No matter what you do, whether you fail or succeed, whether you do it the way they want it or not, they have always something to say against you or to the stuff you do.

2. You will be drained!

You are just investing your time, energy, and life to a pocket full of holes by serving and pleasing them. One day you will wake up tired and burn out, and nothing left to yourself.

3. You will ran out of bona fide partisans!

Because pleasing a forever-ungrateful-unsatisfied person requires FULL ATTENTION, you will also start losing those “real adherents” that you have by forgetting to notice and appreciate them.

4. You will lose your self-esteem!

Imagine giving all you got, doing all your best, expecting pleasing results, and just be rebuffed? It will destroy your dignity! It will badly affect your honor, decision-making, future, and ability!

5. You will lose your vision!

Because pleasing them means serving their own vision - you will lose yours! Your life-mission will turn to fulfilling their vision rather yours. At the end, you will never fulfill it and you will never fulfill yours.

But! I’m not saying that you go on your own and never accept any critic or corrections from someone because that will also lead to self destruction,

as the Bible said in Proverbs 11:14 -

Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.

You need people that will cover your blindsides. You need people that will constructively criticize you. You need iron-like-people that will sharpen you. You need to be open for rebukes, critics, and corrections for it is for your growth and improvement. Just be wise and sensitive enough to distinguish who is there for you to be better or bitter.

Also, never close your door to these people without praying for them. If you can’t satisfy their appetite maybe God can, but if still not, well… no one can!

Save yourself. Save your future. You are awesomely “someone”!

God made you unique and with great purpose. You have a God-given mission and vision to be fulfilled, GO FOR IT! SHINE FORTH!
