A. Unbelievers are like dogs utters insults and trash talk with their mouths

"Behold, they belch out [insults] with their mouths; swords [of sarcasm, ridicule, slander, and lies] are in their lips,"

Belch out or "naba" in Hebrew meaning: "to gush forth, to utter, to emit a foul odor, flowing, pour out, send forth, utter abundantly"

Proverbs 15:2 (Amplified Bible)

The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool pours out folly.

Matthew 12:34 (Amplified Bible)

You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks.

It is like their mouths are holding out a sword to kill anyone it hits.

Psalms 55:21 (Amplified Bible)

The words of his mouth were smoother than cream or butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

Psalms 57:4 (Amplified Bible)

My life is among lions; I must lie among those who are aflame—the sons of men whose teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords.

Psalms 64:3-5 (Amplified Bible)

Who whet their tongues like a sword, who aim venomous words like arrows,

Who shoot from ambush at the blameless man; suddenly do they shoot at him, without self-reproach or fear.

They encourage themselves in an evil purpose, they talk of laying snares secretly; they say, Who will discover us ?

Psalms 109:2-3 (Amplified Bible)

For the mouths of the wicked and the mouth of deceit are opened against me; they have spoken to me and against me with lying tongues.

They have compassed me about also with words of hatred and have fought against me without a cause.

Proverbs 12:18 (Amplified Bible)

There are those who speak rashly, like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

ILLUSTRATION: They trash talk with their mouth, it's like they are angry at someone ready to kill them with their words but they will say, "It's only an expression, no harm done!"

"for who, they think, hears us?"

Psalms 10:11 (Amplified Bible)

Psalms 10:13 (Amplified Bible)

Why does the wicked [man] condemn (spurn and renounce) God? Why has he thought in his heart, You will not call to account?

Psalms 73:11 (Amplified Bible)

And they say, How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?

Psalms 94:7-9 (Amplified Bible)

Yet they say, The Lord does not see, neither does the God of Jacob notice it.

Consider and understand, you stupid ones among the people! And you [self-confident] fools, when will you become wise?

He Who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He Who formed the eye, shall He not see?

Job 22:12-13 (Amplified Bible)

Is not God in the height of heaven? And behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

Therefore you say, How and what does God know [about me]? Can He judge through the thick darkness?

Jeremiah 33:24 (Amplified Bible)

Have you not noticed that these people [the Jews] are saying, The Lord has cast off the two families [Israel and Judah] which He chose? Thus My people have despised [themselves in relation to God as His covenant people], so that they are no more a nation in their [own] sight.
