Summary: Christ The Power Source

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Philippians 4:1

As we go through our daily hustle to manage the demands life brings, Paul reminds us in Philippians of this familiar passage. But let us not forget where our strength comes from and how we obtain our strength to do all of these things. God included the batteries we need for power and strength to perform our purpose in life through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Eph. 6:10 tells us to" be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might". We become strong by plugging into the provision of Christ, the battery.

Christ Is The Way:

Christ is the door to eternal life that we need to stay plugged into communication to God and God's purposes for us. There's an old saying,"One week without God make one weak". If we don't put the battery in, getting charged through the study of God's word, encouragement through fellowship with the body of Christ, and the communication of prayer, we will become a cell phone with no power.Useless. What good is a cell phone with a charger if there is no battery in the phone?

Walk In Our Purpose:

We have to operate through the Spirit of Jesus in order to walk in the obedience of Christ, fulfilling our purpose. We are all given The Great Commission as spoken in Matt 28:16-20, but if we aren't fully charged, we won't have the needed power promised in John 14:12 by Jesus to perform it. This how the battery effects our lives and others around us.

Stay Charged:

Let's keep our cell phones charged, charging through those challenges of life. Show others all is not lost, all can be done by using our gifts with the power of the battery (Christ) provides. Stay strong daily, allowing God to communicate to the world through us that Salvation is not a dud gift. This gift comes with power and the batteries are already included.
