Hebrews 6:12 (Amplified Bible)

6:12 In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.

A. So that we will not grow disinterested and become sluggards

"In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards,"

Slothful, sluggish or lazy came from the Greek word: "nothros" meaning slow, sluggish, indolent, dull, languid. It's impossible to be lazy if we keep our diligence until the end.

Laziness has a source, if you're lazy, it's because you lack understanding of GOD's WORD. GOD's WORD is JESUS CHRIST. Grow in understanding the LORD JESUS thru His WORDS and you will never be lazy again.
