Summary: It is impossible to know the will of God without being transformed from conformity to this world. Have you been transformed?
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Let’s take the first phrase of that verse -
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world …”
We are born into this world conformed to this world
This world reinforces this conformity
#6 Pop song 2013 - Just Give Me A Reason
Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love
Conformed to this world - broken relationships, implied infidelity

I might as well go on and set her free,
she's already turned me loose.
No fault, no blame, nobody done no wrong-
That's just the way it sometimes goes.
Sometimes two people just don't get along, it's time to hit the road.
