Chaos to Order

Genesis 1:2”The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.”

I write this article during lockdown on June 7, 2021, when the second wave of COVID 19 has been ravaging India, stench of death all over, sobs, weeping, tears, fear, uncertainty, darkness lurking in the air…..there is chaos everywhere….Doctors do not know what is next, Government are twiddling their thumb without a solution. Through it all God has proved that He is God!

Well, while this is happening on one side, let us look at the world that has forgotten the Creator of the Universe, people have become gods with their super inventions, brilliant thoughts … the computer savvy generation do not have time for God and His House, they are busy building mansions with no thought of the mansion that awaits them. Sundays are given for either vacation, snoring or shift duties, therefore, God is nowhere in the picture of their lives.

Through vitro fertilization (IVF) and other methods people coolly deliver more than one baby, fertility drugs are used for stimulating a woman's ovaries, which can sometimes cause them to release more than one egg. If sperm fertilizes both of these eggs, this can result in twins and more. Gone are the days to wait like Abraham for an Isaac, fasting, praying and early morning waiting on God are considered out of date. They have clinics that can give them babies of their choice, look at the lives of celebrities who do not sweat or have birth pains but – BAM - they have babies. Driverless cars, artificial rain, immortality and what more? Where is God?

However, today would like to show you a God who hovers and looks over the surface of the earth! God has not left us, the same God who hovered over the surface of the earth is now hovering over the globe to show us that He is God and would like the world to turn to Him. From chaos God created this beautiful earth step by step. Amen. Say step by step. He is God of order, He is not interested in elevators, God wants you to grow gradually, not rashly or speedily, humble yourself before God and let flesh be crucified.

Hebrews 12:25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.

26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven."

27 This expression, "Yet once more," denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

29 for our God is a consuming fire.
