¿cómo Dios Usa La Adversidad

Summary: Si lo supiéramos de antemano que la adversidad es la vía fundamental a través del cual Dios lleva a cabo su voluntad en nuestras vidas, la acogemos?
A trusted servant is the person who gets to wear the key to the King’s house, or like Peter, is given the “keys to the Kingdom.”
Un siervo de confianza es la persona que se pone a usar la llave de la casa del rey, o al igual que Pedro, se le otorga a la "llaves del Reino".
“What does it take to become “trusted?”
" ¿Qué se necesita para convertirse en "de confianza? ".
Well, it takes a lot.
Así, se requiere mucho.
But the blessings that come with that trust are also in the “a lot” category.

I want to explore a topic that requires as much of us, or more, than any other area of our kingdom walk, or our journey toward being trusted of God.
Quiero explorar un tema que requiere de mucho de nosotros, o más, de lo que cualquier otra área de nuestro reino a pie, o el camino de confianza de Dios.
I want to talk about adversity.
Quiero hablar sobre la adversidad.
I remember when I first came back to the Lord.
Recuerdo que cuando llegué por primera vez al Señor.
I was really hungry.
Yo estaba realmente hambriento.
I was really eating up everything that was on the table in front of me.
Yo estaba realmente comer de todo lo que estaba sobre la mesa, delante de mí.
If a crumb fell to the ground, I’d bend over, pick it up and eat it.
Si una gota cayó al suelo, me gustaría doblar, recogerlo y comer.
I wanted, more than anything, for God to know that He could count on me.
Yo quería, más que nada, para que Dios pueda contar conmigo.
Then, just as I was finishing Bible School, I got diagnosed with cancer.
Entonces, justo cuando yo estaba terminando Escuela Bíblica, me diagnosticaron con cáncer.
Here’s what I can say about that: Adversity really gets your attention!
Esto es lo que me puede decir sobre: adversidad realmente llama la atención.
Suddenly, I was forced to face a problem that was too big for me to resolve.
De repente, se ve obligado a afrontar un problema que era demasiado grande para que yo pudiese resolver.
I couldn’t continue to pursue goals, tasks, and relationships in the same way.
No pude seguir a perseguir objetivos, tareas y relaciones de la misma manera.
I had to stop and re-evaluate everything.
Tuve que parar y volver a evaluar todo.
Out of that time of facing adversity, I learned to rely on God in ways that I never would have in any other way.
Fuera de ese tiempo de adversidad, aprendí a confiar en Dios de una manera que nunca me habría en cualquier otra forma.
Adversity became the classroom where I learned to become less like me, and more like Christ.
La adversidad se convirtió en el aula, donde he aprendido a ser menos como yo, y más como Cristo.
When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD; he brought me into a spacious place.
Salmo 118:5
Cuando, clamé a Jehová, y me llevó a un lugar espacioso.
Faith looks at adversity as an opportunity to declare:
"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."
Fe mira a la adversidad como una oportunidad para declarar: Salmo 118:17 "no me voy a morir, sino que se vive, y declarar las obras del Señor".
Adversity became the highway that increased faith's victory in my life.
La adversidad se convirtió en la carretera que fe la victoria en mi vida.
If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength!

The day of adversity reveals whether we are strong or weak in our faith.

Here’s the thing: We will be tested.

The question is, will our faith sustain us?
La pregunta es, ¿nuestra fe nos sostiene?
In the hour of adversity, we must draw on our past reservoirs of faith.
En la hora de la adversidad, debemos recurrir a nuestros últimos reservorios de la fe.
In the hour of trial, we do not have time to build up our faith.
En la hora de la prueba, que no tienen tiempo para construir nuestra fe.
That is why we must constantly be growing in faith--to be prepared.
