Corral? Argue With The Potter?

CORRAL? ARGUING WITH THE POTTER? VS TRUSTING.

This is more than a one part lesson. Perhaps you could condense the material. Our enemy is trying to CORRAL GOD’S PEOPLE.

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

COME LET US CONSIDER THE TOOLS THAT OUR ENEMY TRIES TO USE AGAINST GOD’S PEOPLE TO KEEP US IN A CORRAL?

Depression? Discouragement? Anger? Unfaithfulness? Terrorism? Bitterness? Un-forgiveness? Mood altering ---drugs? Alcohol? Relationships?

I want to focus on one: LACK OF TRUST? WORRY AND FEAR ARE ENEMIES OF FAITH AND TRUST! CAN WE SEE OUR SPIRITUAL ENEMIES ARE TRYING TO PUT US IN THE BARN AND CORRAL OR KEEP US ALL PENNED UP … CORRAL us by worry and fear?

TEXT: Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

What have I to dread? What have I to fear? I am leaning on the everlasting arms of Jesus. God promised if we would fix our minds and hearts on God and His word, He would take care of us. FEAR and WORRY give way to emotional Yo-Yo’s. By faith we must stay our minds focusing on God’s abilities not ours. FAITH will keep us above the water. We must keep at it. Rest if you must but don't quit. FEAR and WORRY HINDERS THE WORK OF FAITH!

YOU MAY THROW IN THE TOWEL, BUT GOD THROWS THE TOWEL BACK AND SAYS: IF YOU MUST, WIPE THE SWEAT OF YOUR FACE, YOU ARE ALMOST THERE. NOW GET BACK IN THE RING. LET US CONSIDER FEAR AND WORRY MARRING THE CLAY… CORRAL

**VASOVAGAL SYNCOPE: HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN A PERSON THAT SEES BLOOD AND THEY PASS OUT? (Vasovagal syncope) This is an overreaction of fear that instantly drives your blood pressure up and your heart rate increases and it TRIGGERS a person to faint. FEAR and WORRY plays spiritual games in your mind and heart.

THE LAST DAY BATTLES WILL DEAL WITH FEAR VS FAITH. Doubt and a lack of trust are by-products of worry and fear. PANIC, FEAR AND WORRY ARE ISOLATING PEOPLE AND CHURCHES.

Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

ARE WE FAITH DRIVEN? OR FEAR DRIVEN? ARE WE SITTING BACK IN DREAD AND FEAR WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN? We see what the bombing of airlines and jets into the twin towers is trying to do? Can we see what COVID-19 is trying to do to us? We see a bomb in a camper in Nashville, ONE MAN IN FEAR… WHAT DID HE FEAR? THE 5-G COMPUTER SYSTEM? People are living in terror because of what they hear and see. The enemy rules by FEAR and WORRY. Will we be terrified at what we see, what we hear on the news and governmental regulations? Every freedom we hold dear is now at stake. The whole world is shaken. SEEMS GREAT PANIC IS BIRTHED IN FEAR and WORRY.

Have we allowed FEAR and WORRY TO DOMINATE US…? Spiritual fainting in ANXIETY and APPREHENSION. Are we expecting the worse? We seem to be allowing fear to create an uproar of SHEER PANIC. A panic of negativism and anxiety smothering our faith?

ARE WE ALLOWING FEAR AND WORRY TO CAUSE US TO OVERREACT SO IT PULLS AN EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL TRIGGER? WE WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT? SOMETIMES EVEN WITH OUR BEST EFFORT WE GET MESSED UP. WE MIGHT EVEN TEND TO LOSE OUR SPIRITUAL FOCUS?

Life has its ups and downs. I have seen several copy a post on Face Book. MY 2021 RESOLUTION IS TO: “LOVE AND CARE FOR MY SELF MORE.” Danger, danger. Contrary to public opinion: LIFE IS NOT ABOUT ME… LIFE IS ABOUT JESUS. We need to quit FEAR and WORRY and TRUST GOD’S UNSEEN HANDS. The gates of hell cannot stop God’s plan.

Willie Nelson has a song: NO BODY SLIDES MY FRIEND. IT IS A TRUTH ON WHICH YOU CAN DEPEND. YOU CAN RUN AND SHOUT BUT IT ALL EQUALS OUT. NO BODY SLIDES MY FRIEND.

God has a plan and a purpose. God says fear and worry brings a quicker death.

Jeremiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

WHY ARE WE NOT TRUSTING GOD BY FAITH? WILL WE ALLOW FEAR AND WORRY TO BECOME THE DRIVING FORCE IN OUR DAILY LIFE? IF YOU GIVE THE DEVIL AN INCH HE WILL BECOME A RULER? LIVING IN A CORRAL?
