Message Point: True Christians live like Jesus.

Supplemental Passage: John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

I. Practicing Sin

a. Sin is lawlessness

b. The devil has sinned from the beginning. Did not sin once, then reform. He continued his course of sinning. It goes on and on.

II. Practicing Righteousness

a. 1: acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin2 a: morally right or justifiable b: arising from an outraged sense of justice or morality

b. In Jesus, there is no sin

III. Loving Fellow Christians

a. Mat 5:23 So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you,

b. 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift to God.

Invitation: Are you “playing” Christian? Are you “playing” church? Do you have something against someone in this room, or another Christian somewhere else? Have you refused to make things right?
