I. EXORDIUM:
Have you burned something before to offer it to someone else?
II. AUDIENCE PROFILE:
General believers
III. OBJECTIVES:
To show the necessirty to offer ourselves to GOD on a daily basis.
IV. TEXT:
These burnt offerings are to be made each day from generation to generation. Offer them in the Lord’s presence at the Tabernacle entrance; there I will meet with you and speak with you.
Prayer: Help me, Oh GOD, to give me consistency of offering myself to you as a living sacrifice.
V. THESIS:
We are the daily (consistent) burnt offering.

VII. EXPLICATION:
A. Author: Moses, Second book of the Pentateuch.
B. Date/Time of writing: 1491 BC
C. Key Thought: Deliverance
D. Main Theme: History of Israel from death of Joseph to Tabernacle's creation.
E. Symbolisms:
1. Egypt = sin/slavery of/to sin
2. Exodus = deliverance from sin
3. Israelites = type of the believer
VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. Characteristics of Daily Burnt Offering:
1. From generation to generation = this is permanent (consistent)
a. the One who initiated is forever. (Lamentations 5:19)
But Lord, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation
b. Covenant for 1000 generations (Deuteronomy 7:9) - longer than that, it's forever.
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
2. Daily burnt offering - it is our bodies
a. Holy and Living sacrifice = our bodies (Romans 12:1)
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
b. Our bodies have to be used for ministry for others.
3. We have to offer it ourselves = use our entire free will to offer ourselves to GOD.
a. Like tithes and offerings, we have to bring them to GOD's House (Malachi 3:10)
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!
4. In the LORD's House - the Tabernacle
a. It is in the sanctuary - where we do the ministry (majority of it)
b. Don't neglect GOD's House (Nehemiah 10:39, Psalms 122:1)
The people and the Levites must bring these offerings of grain, new wine, and olive oil to the storerooms and place them in the sacred containers near the ministering priests, the gatekeepers, and the singers. “We promise together not to neglect the Temple of our God.”
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
5. Result or Promise: He will meet and speak with us.
a. Don't give up meeting together in His House (Hebrews 10:25)
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
b. We will meet and speak with the King of kings.
IX. CONCLUSION:
Give the LORD our highest devotion and praise (Hebrews 13:15) - our life and minds are continual praises or sacrifice of praises to Him.
Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name
GOD promises to meet and speak with us in His Presence at the altar.
