Dangerous Bug In The Church

Dangerous bug in the church
Acts 5:3 “But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?”
Beware of deception: The Bible says: Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “ Do not believe people on face value, we got to look beyond that. We got to discern the motives of the heart before we proceed to make decisions. Wow and wow! Peter was able to look beyond the bag of money that Ananias brought as offering to the church, it looked like they brought everything, but the Bible says, “kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife's full knowledge”. You may ask what is wrong with that, after all it is his land which very clearly explained by Peter himself, is this not your land before you sold it? (Acts 5:4 Let me explain, Ananias and Sapphira wanted to be ‘one up’ than the others, prominent and distinguished like Barnabas mentioned in chapter 4 who ‘brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.’ Did you see that? Hypocrisy! This evil in their heart did not stop them from lying! Dangerous bug in the church! God did not want that bug to grow and pollute the entire church, so it was killed.
This BUG would say, ‘I sing better than you, I pay tithes better than you, my children sing and play guitar better than you, I read the Bible better than you and I am more anointed than you. This bug would join the opposite party and gossip about the pastor and his children. This bug would dare to smile on one side but at the same time, mock at the righteous people. This bug would stand and do long prayers in the church, but would not hesitate to slander the authorities of the church. This bug would be in the church choir, yet it would not follow rules or humble to be in union with others. Such BUGS would defile the Temple of God!
When they both died the Bible says that ‘great fear came over the whole church’! Oh yeah, God is not interested in great choir, great building. Great singing and great pulpit but all He is interested is GREAT FEAR for Him. Stop being a hypocrite, love your church and pray for the church.
