Destiny is Deuel (Hebrew word meaning God knows).

FOR:

God sees the end from the beginning;

God has appointed a destination for the Christian;

God has appointed a destination for the unbeliever.

Destiny has more to do with DESINation than it does with ability and achievement.

Destiny is a powerful force in our life.

For in Christ we are destined for great things!

Our destiny is to be “conformed” into the very image and likeness of Christ;

Thereby expressing the glory and nature of God.

This in-turn will allow the creator to dwell, subdue and exercise dominion in this earth through His Holy Ghost filled believers.

Our destiny is not to just make it to heaven;

Our destiny is to have and celebrate Jubilee (Freedom from bondage) in this present life.

As a people of Destiny, we must abandon the wilderness way of thinking (wandering in defeatism).

We must cross the Jordan of decision and claim our inheritance in the Lord.

Our inheritance is souls: Psalm 2:8 “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”

Let’s consider some basic principles in understand destiny:

Destiny has a specific purpose:

i.e. you and I were created in Christ with a specific purpose, “…who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Ester 4:14.

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Christ died for each of us knowing our shortcomings, failures, insecurities and inabilities. –Romans 5:8.

For by the Grace of God we are saved. –Ephesians 2:8-9.

Because God so loved the world He gave His only son, Jesus to save us. –John 3:16

God choose us to accomplish His purpose on this earth.

Destiny is a Good(God) plan:

God’s plan and purpose for each of us is without doubt for the good and our best.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Destiny is God Enablement:

God enables us to do great things.

Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Where we realize it or not, we are all history makers;

And we are making that history with every breath we take and every choice we make.

They say there are 3 kinds of people in this old-world:

Those who make it happen.

Those who watch it happen.

Those who wander what happen.

Be one of those who grab the altar by the horns and make it happen.

Destiny in its simplest form dictates that we are more “than the sum of our parts.”

In-like-manner, we understand that we are not just the product of our circumstances and our environment.
