Different Types Of Anointing Series

“We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. For He has established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.” Psalm 78:4-7

v The Priestly Anointing is Holy-

“And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.” Ex 40:9

v Our mind and thought pattern has to be holy. Feeding junk to our mind will only impede the flow of the Lord’s anointing in our lives. The mind is the battlefield of eternity. What we allow in our mind will filter through our heart and be shown through our actions. Train the mind to be like the mind of Christ. Take the vain thoughts captive through the word of the Lord and let the anointing break the chains associated with the mind. Le 8:12

v Our lives must be holy before the Lord. Our lives are like garments or clothes that reflect the Lord or the lack thereof in our lives. There must be a greater dedication to the Lord and to pursue God’s holiness in our actions and motives. The world is tired of talk. We must now do the walk. The world must now see anointed believers, anointed actions and anointed acts. Le 8:30

v The Priestly Anointing Calls for Greater Dedication- the price for the Priestly Anointing requires dedication to the Lord. It calls for sacrifices to be made. Not touching the profane in order to partake of the holy. Not seeking one’s gratification, but striving in all things to give glory to the Lord. The Priestly Anointing requires discipline, prayer, fasting, deeper love and fellowship with the Lord. The Priestly Anointing calls for the rejection of all idols, of all pretenders and usurpers. To be engaged in the Priestly Anointing is to rise to high and holy places in the Lord. Is to see things in the light of eternity rather than constantly just using our natural senses. The Priestly Anointing requires much, but it also gives much.

v The Priestly Anointing Calls for Greater Introspection

Ps 44:21

Shall not God search this out ? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Ps 64:6

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

Ps 77:6

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Ps 139:23

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

FINAL THOUGHTS

What if we died and discovered that while on earth, we could have had a greater impact for the Kingdom of God if only we had learned what holiness was all about. Let’s take the Lord’s world to heart and begin anew. A fresh start from now on. Restoration.
