Summary: We begin a series on God’s Possibilities, with a lesson on coming near the heart of God.

DIVINE POSSIBILITIES: CLIMB INTO GOD’S ENVELOPE

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

We are studying Divine Possibilities:

1. Climb into God’s Envelope; 2. Accept the Mantle; 3. Starving at a feast; 4. Let God!

5. When an unforgiving preacher preaches forgiveness; 6. Rising above the Minimum;

7. Rising above the scars; 8. Every miracle starts with a problem! 9. Walking in Divine

blessings; 10. Importunity/Determination

We are in the series of Divine Possibilities. God has a place near His heart for you.

We approach God’s throne humbly but boldly as His children.

The closer we walk to the Father the better we will know Him. It is a very important point for those that follow Jesus to come close to Him.

Today we seldom reach above our potential and accept there is more, there is the realm of Divine

Possibilities! We must speak to this spiritual realm and reach for God’s plan.

The closer we are to God and His son Jesus the better we can hear Him.

It is high time within the church that we speak blessing and release the Divine possibilities

that bring release. This is serious and we need to learn the power of coming close and being in the

center of His will. We want more than warming at a distant fire!

WE HAVE A HERITAGE AND WE MUST CLAIM OUR RIGHTFUL INHERITANCE.

I start this lesson with a large envelope and I place some pictures in the envelope and seal it closed.

God has a beautiful plan. God loves you and He has a Haven of Rest, He is a Rock of Refuge, He is the Lily of the Valley, He is the bright and morning star.

God has a place for you, God has an envelope for you.

God will place you in His Envelope of Love and seal you.

Why come out of the envelope of love?

Learn to stay near the heart of God, stay beneath the shadow of the cross.

I. DO YOU EVER WANT TO REFUSE SAFETY?

A. When I was a school teacher the Department of Forestry had this little Magazine.

Ranger Rick was the character. It appears there had been a forest fire, many trees had been destroyed, and many animals died. As Ranger Rick was walking through the destruction he noticed a lump on the ground. Ranger Rick kicked the lump and out ran several baby chickens. The hen had sacrificed her life to be a thermal blanket for the baby chickens. As Ranger Rick was picking up the baby chickens to take them to safety, he noticed the burnt remains of several baby chickens that for some reason had not come

under the safety net of the mother chicken and they died in the fire.

B.Why would a teenager hop into a car and drive away without their safety belt? Maybe some say a seat belt is dangerous?

But in 9 out of 10 accidents, that seat belt will help the persons?

II. RECEIVE NOTHING? WHY NOT?

SOME VERY SAD WORDS? I CAN’T RECEIVE GOD’S HERITAGE FOR ME?

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave

of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7: For let not that man THINK THAT HE SHALL

RECEIVE ANYTHING OF THE LORD.

John 16:24 Hitherto have you asked nothing in My Name: ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE, that your joy may be full.

A. Our joy tanks are often empty or very low, because we have an unhealthy prayer life.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye ARE SEALED unto the day of redemption.

B. Suffering is inevitable. MISERY IS OPTIONAL!

God’s plan for us is to be MORE THAN CONQUERORS---

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? Or distress? Or persecution? Or famine? Or nakedness? Or peril? Or sword?

Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US. 38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,

nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come.

39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

III.GOD HAS A HERITAGE PLAN TO RESCUE HIS PEOPLE

THE ENEMY AND THE BATTLE HAS DIVINE LIMITATIONS!

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2: In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come

again and receive you unto Myself.
