Summary: The Law has nothing in Grace. Our salvation is not by the law but by Grace and we keep our salvation also not by the Law but by Grace

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Topic: DO NOT MIX GRACE WITH THE LAW

Acts 15:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

15 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

Beloved, we ought to becareful about who we listen to and what we listen to.

False teachings might sound very good and be according to our thinking or way of life. Sometimes it would be to us the perfect message we've been waiting for all year, to authenticate something's for us.

Beloved on no account should you or any preacher mix GRACE and the LAW. The message of Grace produces life, abundant life such that you have full life here on earth and after death;

The message of the Law produces curses and death such that if you go against any of them you face judgement and the punishment (curses and death) awaits you.

Beloved, whenever you mix the two above you still produce death. Never ever mix them. Stick to the Gospel of Grace, that's what Jesus came to teach us and that's the message He charged us to go out there and preach to win souls.

The Law has nothing in Grace and the Law has nothing to do with your salvation. You can never ever get salvation by obeying the Law nor keep your salvation by obeying the Law. Salvation is by Grace and keeping it is also by Grace.

Beloved Jesus has fulfilled the Law and so long as you live in Him and Him in you, you have through Jesus fulfilled the Law.

No man can fulfil the Law on His own. The Law is also such that you don't obey part and ignore part. You can't obey the Law and not commit adultery, then you disobey it by stealing through bribery and corruption and changing figures on accounting papers to put more money in your pocket. If you do this, you have still transgressed the Law and don't deserve nothing but punishment.

Beloved, under the Law you need to work to earn what you get. The Law always makes you feel guilty, makes you feel like you owe God some punishment so you attribute all negative things that happen to you to your disobedience. This paints a totally wrong picture of God. It makes Him look like an unforgiving God or one who is selective in His forgiveness.

Grace teaches the opposite. That we serve a forgiving God who would forgive us no matter what. He is love and His love invites and draws us into Him always. His love separates us from negative attitudes He doesn't want us to indulge in again. Grace teaches us that we never owe God any punishment for Christ has been punished in our stead. Our guilt is all taken away by Jesus. We are slaves no more but freed children of God.

Beloved may the Grace of God be your portion always.

*IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and nothing else. Jesus is Grace in person and if we would commit to Him and live in Him as He lives in us we would enjoy the fullness of His Grace.

Prayer: Father, may the Grace of Jesus Christ, your love and the fellowship of Precious Holy Spirit be with me always. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
