Gal 5:24
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Gal 5:24-25
24 Those who belong to Christ have nailed their natural evil desires to his cross and crucified them there.
25 If we are living now by the Holy Spirit’s power, let us follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Rom 6:5-8
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

*** Walking in the spirit is self denial.
*** Love is works- God could have just spoke salvation…but He brought salvation.
*** THE APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE IS THE BALANCING ACT OF THE DOCTRINE OF WORKS.
*** THE ACT OF PRAYING EVERY DAY, FASTING, ETC, IS NOT WHAT SAVES YOU BUT IT IS(SACRIFICE), WHAT INVOKES THE POWER OF THE CROSS.
*** AND IF YOU INVOKE THE POWER OF THE CROSS YOU INVOKE THE RESULTS OF THE CROSS-DELIVERANCE!

RESURRECTION--
*** REPENTANCE-- CEASING FROM DEAD WORKS…ALIVE TO GOOD WORKS.
Heb 6:1
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, (KJV)
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
Eph 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

*** No self denial!!
*** They make the cross of Christ a pretty thing so that their cross can be a pretty thing.
*** They cheapen it! Wear it on their lapel or on a necklace and don’t even consider it’s cost.
