Joel 2:15 - Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes.....

Can you hear the sound of the trumpet blowing across the land? The Lord is trying to get our attention, but many are asleep in the land. Many do not have ears to hear the s ound of the alarm.

What do alarms do? They are supposed to wake us up.

When the alarm on the clock next to your bed goes off in the morning, what do you do? Do you immediately get up and begin your day or do you press the snooze button and go back to sleep for another 10 minutes? Or do you completely tune out the alarm altogether?

There are many in the body of Christ who are not hearing the alarm. The trumpet is blowing. We must awake, arise and be about the Father’s business.

I hear a call and a cry in my spirit for an awakening in the land. We’ve been asleep and slumbering for a long time. We must wake up and do that which God has called us to do. We must get ready for that which is coming.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be left out of this next wave of God’s Spirit. I don’t want to be one of those who is wiped out by the giant wave that is coming. I want to be one of those who will catch th e wave and ride it out. There is a huge wave coming. I have seen it in the Spirit. This wave or move of God’s Spirit will be filled with healings, miracles, signs and wonders. We must not remain asleep and slumbering. We must wake up and prepare ourselves for this move of God. We must not be bystanders and those who are content to stand on the sidelines and watch what God is doing. We must be participators. We must line ourselves up with God’s plan and purposes. We must lay hold of that which He has called us to do.

My constant prayer has been, "Lord, don’t pass me by. I want to be on the cutting edge of what You are doing in the earth. Make me hungry and thirsty for You, Lord. Breathe on me the breath of life and cause me to be revived and awakened to Your Spirit." Is this the cry of your heart?

Joel 2:17 - Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, weep betw een the porch and the altar....

We are all called to be priests who minister to the Lord, weeping between the porch and the altar. How much time do we spend ministering to the Lord. This is the highest calling. This is what we were created for. How many of us have put ministry to the church before ministry to the Lord? I pray that divine order will come back to the church. I pray that God will bring divine alignment to His body. I pray that God will give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and hearts to receive all that He has for us in this day and hour. I pray that we will be transformed into His image, from glory to glory.

Many have stopped short of the call. Many have become distracted with the things of this world. We must overcome the distractions and everything that has stopped us from going forward in God. If we are not pressing on in faith, God is not pleased. We must press on! We must press in! We must arise, wake up and position ourselves to be used by God. He wants to use every one of us. He wants to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

I pray that God will breathe on you today. I pray that you will hear the sound of the trumpet and that you will wake up and do what He has called you to do. I pray that you will take your position as a priest and minister to the Lord. As you minister to Him, He will minister to you.

Psalm 124:8 - Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Some of you have given up because you have not seen the breakthrough that you were praying for. You gave up too soon my friend, for the breakthrough is at the door. Don’t give up! Take your position and get back to that place of m inistering unto the Lord with your whole heart. Press in for the victory! It’s there for you! Don’t allow the enemy to rob you of that victory! Go after it!
