Luke 12:32-40 Getting ready, what do I wear?

1. What brings God Pleasure? To give the gift of the Kingdom

32"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom

This Kingdom can be far-away

This Kingdom can be near

This kingdom can be within you

36Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. But now my kingdom is from another place." God is saying let us live in the other place. The Kingdom living.

2. Giving to the Poor brings God Pleasure.

. 33Sell your possessions and give to the poor.

3. Having Divine Values in mind brings God Pleasure

Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

4. Being dressed properly brings God Much Pleasure.

A. Get Ready by Being Robed for Service

35"Be dressed ready for service

Jesus taught to serve, Robes One with Reward

. 42And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."

B. Get Ready by Being Robed in Blaze of Glory

keep your lamps burning

One must be robed in a Continual Blaze according to God.

Lev 6:12The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out.

C. Get Ready by Being Robed in Expectation of the Hope

, 36like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.

D. Get Ready by Being Robed in Readiness.

38It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes

in the second or third watch of the night

E. Get Ready by Being Robed in the Right Fashion

. 40You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

The Bride the Church is made her self ready by being robed in the Blood of the lamb. It is the only way to Heaven.

. 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!

For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

8Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear."
