Supplemental Passage: Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. (Romans 8:33-34 NASB)

c. Luke 22:43-44 tells of an angel coming to strengthen and that Jesus agonized so much that He sweat blood

III. Judas Subverting

a. All the while of these happenings, Judas was out making arrangements with the Sanhedrin to betray Jesus

b. He was not there to pray with Him, to strengthen Him, or to encourage Him. He was in it for the money.

c. If we aren’t careful, we’ll be just like Judas; while the ministry is going on, we’ll be out making our own plans.
