Four keys to hearing God’s voice as found In Hab. 2:1-2
1. Quiet yourself down
Look for vision
Tune to flow
Journal out what you receive
2. What will happen if you use all four keys?
You will hear the voice of God every time you use all four keys.
Our heavenly fathers desires to be involved with us
1. God has one desire and one desire only… to dwell among us
a. It is built into his DNA
b. Why did God create you?
1. God main purpose in creating us was not to worship him….
Millions of angels worship him
"And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;" (Revelation 5:11, KJV)
How much is a million. If you wanted to count from one to one million, it would take you about 23 days."
2. Why did he create us then? That he might love us.
2. We, not angels are sons
a. We, not angels, are promised to rule world to come.
"For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak." (Hebrews 2:5, KJV)
b. They are attendants, servants, of the those who are heir of salvation.
"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:14, KJV)
c. We shall rule over angels
"Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" (1 Corinthians 6:3, KJV)
3. God’s heart has always been to pursue men
a. Hold hand over my mouth and holler, Adam, Adam, where are you?
Adam left God’s presence. God went looking for him. Why is it, when we sin, we run away? For when we sin, he moves even closer to us.
Man is not complete till he goes home again.
1. We also have one desire and one desire only, to dwell in his presence.
a. It is built into our DNA, passed on to us, thru the spirit of our father.
2. Jesus taught, the closet thing to heaven on earth is knowing God
a. "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3, KJV)

Note the progress, by becoming acquainted with truth, you gain spiritual freedom
Closing…
1. Paul said,
"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;" (Philippians 3:10, KJV)
2. Jesus in an earlier conversation with me, told me, the only way to really know who he is, is to draw near him often, and spend time with him.
