I. EXORDIUM:

Are you hungry for healing? Are you thirsty for forgiveness?

II. AUDIENCE PROFILE:

Believers/unbelievers

III. OBJECTIVES:

To show from the bible through a secret message that our enemies (the unbelievers) still hungers for healing and thirst for forgiveness, so whenever we have a chance and if our enemy likes it, then give them JESUS. Preach to them JESUS, it is not necessary for them to receive JESUS or not, what's important is that we have played our part well.

IV. TEXT:

Proverbs 25:21

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

V. THESIS:

Praise, worship, glorify, adore, bless, honor, acknowledge and thank You very much LORD JESUS for You have given me much courage and boldness to give You JESUS to my enemies whenever they needed healing and whenever they needed forgiveness. It will all depend on our enemies' acceptance or rejection of You that decides whether they will be saved or not and it's not our responsibilities anymore.

VI. TITLE:

Give JESUS To Your Enemies

D. Key Word: Proverbs, Pro_25:1.

E. Strong Verses: Pro_25:21, Pro_25:22.

F. Striking Facts: Pro_25:1. Herein Christ is greater than Solomon for Joh_21:25 tells us that if we had on record all the good things that Christ said the world could not contain the books.

Taken from Summarized Bible

VIII. MAIN BODY:

Proverbs 24:17 Rejoice not when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles {or} is overthrown,

Romans 12:20 But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.

Romans 12:21 Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.

We are not to neglect our duties and responsibilities towards our enemies, that is to give them JESUS - the food - healing that they are hungry for, and the blood - the forgiveness they thirst for. The bible does not say that to make our enemies our friends, but they remain in the same position as they are as our enemies, but in sharing JESUS to them, then we are to make them our brothers/sisters thus making us and them both the sons of GOD. We are not to hate the believers but to love them as brethrens. We break the curse of sin in their life, thus breaking our enmity ship with them as well and we treat them as brethren instead, a spiritual family member as well.

1 John 4:20 If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.

A. If enemy is hungry, give Him the body of JESUS - Healing

"If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;"

As believers when we eat we partake of the LORD JESUS as our Daily Bread.

John 6:51 I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).

John 6:58 This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.

1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you [it was given to me personally], that the Lord Jesus on the night when He was treacherously delivered up {and} while His betrayal was in progress took bread,

1 Corinthians 11:24 And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, {Take, eat.} This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.

1 Corinthians 10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor {and} glory of God.

Why did GOD connected His body and blood with our eating and drinking? So that we will always remember Him. People of different classes and cultures, always eat, and they eat like 3 times a day like we Filipinos do. So everytime we eat we remember the LORD JESUS as our body and blood - our meat and drink.
