God Almighty Owns The Temple Not You

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 King James Version (KJV)

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Beloved, if our bodies are members of Christ's Body and we are joined with Him and we are one spirit with Him then what Apostle Paul said, that, our bodies are the temples of God for His Spirit lives in us is truth.

Beloved if we take these same bodies and join them to idols and engage in idolatry then we grieve the Spirit of God, quench Him then become one flesh with the idolaters and one spirit with the devil who is the mastermind and force behind all idolatry.

Now, whatever food we eat contributes in building our bodies physically and whatever spiritual activities we also engage in builds our spirits.

Therefore as you engage in idolatry, you also indulge in eating foods made for and offered to idols, sacrifices offered to them are used for these foods. As you eat these foods they get incorporated into your bodies as they build your bodies up and your bodies become corrupted with evil.

These foods are physical but they have spiritual implications. Know that once these foods affect your body, it will affect your spirit as well and also set you up for evil.

Beloved, you are rather to have communion daily, eating the Body and drinking the Blood of Christ. This food builds your bodies, heals you, restores what you have lost and also strengthens your spirit and makes your spirit sensitive to the promptings of Precious Holy Spirit to make you live a life separated unto God. This kind of life pleases our Father in heaven.

Beloved, be careful what you engage in because, your body is the temple of God where His Spirit dwells. Don't do what will destroy your body in other words destroy the temple or home of God.

For, He owns you. The house which is His temple, has been bought by Him at a price. It cost Him the Blood of His Son to buy you so you don't own yourself to go about destroying His property. Yield to Him, let Him take charge of His possession and rule it. You are just a caretaker or manager don't mismanage your Father's property and destroy it in the end. In the name of I know too much or I am wise enough to run my own affairs.

Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus has come to pay the price for you and therefore you have been bought from prison, oppression and destruction. Don't go back into it. Allow God to control and run His temple through you in the name of Jesus.

Prayer: Daddy I love you, please give me wisdom, understanding and knowledge to live for you and not do what you hate in the mighty name of Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
