Summary: No one loves us like our Lord.

GOD CARES FOR YOU AND I

1ST Peter 5: 6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1. As a father cares for his child ------- Providingly

Romans 8: 31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

2. As a mother cares for her own --------------Affectionately

Isaiah 49: 15Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

3.As the gardener cares for his garden ----------- Attentively

Isaiah 27: 2In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.

3I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

4Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

4.As the lid of the eye protects and cares for the eye. ------------ Instantly

Deut.32: 10He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

5. As a friend cares for his friends -------------Faithfully

Proverbs 17: 17A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

6.As the keeper cares for his charge ----------Watchfully

1st Thess.5: 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7. As the bank cares for the deposited --------------------Secretly

Gal.3: 1O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
