VIII. MAIN BODY:

This is an encouragement verse.

The word "unrighteous" came from the Greek word "adikos" meaning:

1. descriptive of one who violates or has violated justice

2. of one who deals fraudulently with others, deceitful

GOD is not One who violates or has violated justice. GOD is not One who deals fraudulently with others. GOD is not deceitful.

A. GOD will remember how you helped His people in the past

"He will remember how you helped his people in the past"

Forget came from the Greek word: "epilanthanomai" meaning:

1. to forget

2. neglecting, no longer caring for

3. forgotten, given over to oblivion, i.e. uncared for

10:4 And he, gazing intently at him, became frightened and said, What is it, Lord? And the angel said to him, Your prayers and your [generous] gifts to the poor have come up [as a sacrifice] to God and have been remembered by Him.

GOD is not forgetful, He always remember the goodness you've done to His people but He decided not to remember the negative things you've done. GOD's mind is only full of positive things not negative while people are the exact opposite.

Jeremiah 31:34 (Amplified Bible)

31:34 And they will no more teach each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for they will all know Me [recognize, understand, and be acquainted with Me], from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will [seriously] remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:12 (Amplified Bible)

8:12 For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.

B. GOD will remember how you are still helping His people

"and how you are still helping them."

Galatians 5:13 (Amplified Bible)

5:13 For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (Amplified Bible)

15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

Galatians 6:9 (Amplified Bible)

6:9 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

C. GOD will not forget the love you show His people

"You belong to God, and he won't forget the love you have shown his people."

Hebrews 13:16 (Amplified Bible)

13:16 Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Matthew 10:42 (Amplified Bible)

10:42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

Galatians 6:10 (Amplified Bible)

6:10 So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers].
