Message Point: God’s tapestry weaves “good” out of the seemingly bad things that happen, all for His glory.
Focus Passage: Romans 8:28-31
Introduction: Personal story of going to Guinea, then getting a new assignment.
I. His Purpose
a. Things work together for good TO THOSE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE
b. What is His purpose? To seek and to save those which are lost.
II. His Ways
a. He looked ahead. Seeing the future for God is like our seeing the past. He isn’t bounded by time.
b. We are a part of something that is much bigger than ourselves. It isn’t about us.
III. His Glory
a. Corrie Tin Boom’s story about the angel.
Invitation: "For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. (2 Chronicles 16:9)
