History is full of MEN wanting to be GOD.
While GOD wanted to become MAN.
Jesus became what we were so we could become what He is.
The Disciples emphasized His Deity: “Son of God”.
He emphasized His Humanity: “Son of Man”.
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
John 1:10 “He (Jesus) was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
Psalm 106:21 “…God their savior…”
1 Jon 4:14 “…the Father sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.”
Psalm 23:1 “The LORD [is] my shepherd;”
John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
Psalm 24:10 “Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he [is] the King of glory.”
Matthew 2:2 “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east…”
The I Am:
Exodus 3:14 “…And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM…”
John 8:4- “4- … Whom seek ye? 5- Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am… 6- As soon then as he had said unto them, I Am, they went backward, and fell to the ground.”
The First and the Last:
Isaiah 41:4 “…the LORD, the first, and with the last;”
Revelation 1:17 “…he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last.”
Psalm 89:26 “…Thou [art] my father, my God, and the rock…”
Acts 4:11-12 “11- This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12- Neither is there salvation in any other…”
Jesus was God and Man – A duality of natures.
As man He was hungry. - As God He feed the 5,000.
As man He was weary. - As God He made the weary to rest.
As a man He grew in wisdom. - As God He knows all.
God so “loved” the world (us-you and me) that He went out-of-His-way to save us.
By way of a virgin maid, By way of death on a cross.
By way of the grave, paying the ultimate cost.
Revelation 1:18 “I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

We think of Love as an abstract thought of emotion; how someone feels toward another.
Jesus was a Hebrew and Hebrews didn’t define Love as an abstract.
The Hebrew word ahav [H:157] goes much deeper than simple emotion.
Ahav means “a gift” and “to provide”.
We do not choose our parents… They are a gift from above.
We do not choose our brothers and sisters… They are a gift from above.
We do not choose our children… They are a gift from above.
The Hebrews didn’t pick their spouses they were gifted to them by their parents.
A Hebraic concept of Love is one in which you provide for and protect that which you were gifted with from above not in an emotional sense, but in the sense of your actions.
John 10:27- “27- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. 29- My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand. 30- I and [my] Father are one.”
John 15:12-13 “12- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
