Explanation: (:13)Absence/Presence

:13—“And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; & behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

God spoke directly to Noah. And likewise, He speaks to people if we take the proper steps to listen!

God told Noah that the “end of all flesh” will come because of the “violence” propagated by men. Mankind is not fulfilling his designed capability. He has relied upon his freewill to the extent that he has disregarded his very Maker.

God has expended sufficient time in waiting for mankind to return to Him. Now the time has come.

Eccl. 7:8—“The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Lk. 21:19—Jesus told His disciples,—“By your patience possess your souls.”

God warned Noah that a calamity would occur soon(See :3-120 yrs.).

God had to circumvent the consuming corruption of “all flesh”(:5, 11-12) The creator’s solution was to “destroy” the corrupting “flesh” inhabiting the earth. Not only the instigators of the violence, but also those creatures intimately tied to man’s corruption would be the recipients of God’s “destruction.”

“With the earth” signifies all breathing creatures that were created on the 5th & 6th days.

Rom. 8:18-22—“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans & labors with birth pangs together until now.”

This seminally prepares us for the manner of God’s upcoming plan of destruction.

Argumentation:

Jer. 51:11-18—“Make the arrows bright! Gather the shields! The LORD has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes. For His plan is against Babylon to destroy it, Because it is the vengeance of the LORD, The vengeance for His temple. Set up the standard on the walls of Babylon; Make the guard strong, Set up the watchmen, Prepare the ambushes. For the LORD has both devised & done What He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon. O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your covetousness. The LORD of hosts has sworn by Himself: “Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts, And they shall lift up a shout against you.” He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He utters His voice-- There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries. Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by the carved image; For his molded image is falsehood, And there is no breath in them. They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish.”
