Summary: I want to keep this message very simple, so that it gets across each of you and you would understand the ‘father-heart’, no….no….’mother-heart’ of God.

He will enlarge your path!

2 Samuel 22:37”You enlarged my path under me; So my feet did not slip.”

The above is a thanksgiving song of King David when God had delivered him from all the enemies, read: 2 Samuel 22:1”Then David spoke to the LORD the words of this song, on the day when the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul.” After a hectic and frantic life of running and hiding in caves, there came a day when God delivered David from all foes. Amen. God would surely give you rest! You don’t have to pace back and forth – just relax on His promises. Cheer up!

I want to keep this message very simple, so that it gets across each of you and you would understand the ‘father-heart’, no….no….’mother-heart’ of God. When toddlers are learning to crawl and walk, the mom carefully clears the way for her kid, so that the baby does not trip and fall. The mom also goes ahead of the kid, stretches both her hands and encourages the kid to come to her – it is fun to watch the baby run and embrace the mom. Same way, Jesus goes before us, clears the way for us….trains us on the way…(making sure, you don’t seriously get hurt during the process) and finally brings us to our destination. Can we say Amen.

The first house we moved in after my resignation from the bank and the sales of my apartment was a double bed room portion which was under construction; ours was the only portion that was ready and we moved in. I had shared in my book ‘Locked up with God’ more about this, well, it was midnight when we moved in and we were aghast to find that the house had no back door. We could do nothing but pray and sleep. Slowly, the builder started constructing the adjacent flats and we were jammed and suffocated between them – with no air to breathe. When the builder constructed a ‘common toilet’ right at the entrance of our flat, it was the most damaging thing for us, the house stank in front and behind. We endured that place for long because our ministry was flourishing in that place. God watched our tears! Finally, He took us to a wonderful 5 bedroom, duplex, individual house with papaya, coconut trees and spacious backyard. Not a day passed that we were grateful to God for His goodness. He watches our inconveniences and tears! Patiently wait! He would take you to a broad place!

I am talking to someone out there! Endure the humiliation, rejection, suffering at the present place where you are: He would mold you and take you to an enlarged place, prepared for you ahead. Are you listening? When Joseph was languishing in the prison for several years, God was preparing the chariot for him. The ring of king Pharaoh fitted him perfectly, Genesis 41:42”Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph's hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.” That’s something! Perfect planning!

Walk in His ways and He would take care of your steps!

Proverbs 4:12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.
