Hear Ye Hear Ye There Is A Pay Day

HEAR YE HEAR YE THERE IS A PAY DAY

Rev.22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I hear people talking about payday will be here soon. The bible teaches us about a big pay day.

1.There is a difference between Salvation and rewards .

Salvation is a free gift by the son of God; rewards are what we work for.

2. Past has no bearing on rewards prior to conversion.

You are not on Gods payday till you saved.

Prov.24: 19Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:

20For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

3.No rewards until Jesus comes back.

4.No rewards for thing we do for show

People do things every day they say for Jesus

Matt.6: 1Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

5. No two will be rewarded alike

We have not been alike.

1stCor15: 38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

6. There will be some saved with no reward.

Matt 5: 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
