Who rejoice to do evil and delight in the perverseness of evil,

A perverse man sows strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.

The exceedingly grasping, covetous, and violent man entices his neighbor, leading him in a way that is not good.

The way of the guilty is exceedingly crooked, but as for the pure, his work is right and his conduct is straight.

B. He devised mischief continually and sows discord

The heart of wicked manufactures wicked thoughts and plans while laying on his bed.

Proverbs 6:18 (Amplified Bible)

A heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,

Psalms 36:4 (Amplified Bible)

He plans wrongdoing on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject or despise evil.

You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
