Heavenly Reminders to God’s Remnant
I. The Reminder of Our Eternal Focus
“But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise…”
A. He will be our focus because of our acceptance of Him
1. Our acceptance due to God’s grace
2. Our acceptance due to belief by faith
B. He will be our focus due to His position
1. He will be on the His heavenly throne (Phil. 2:9-11)
2. He is the only One worthy of focus in eternity (Rev. 5:9-14)
3. He is the provider of our righteousness (II Cor. 5:21)
II. The Reminder of Our Eternal State
“…with healing in His wings…”
A. We will be eternally healed due to our glorification (I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thes. 4:13-18)
B. We will be physically healed due to His mercy (Rev. 21:4)
C. We will be spiritually healed due to His sacrifice (Rev. 21:27)
III. The Reminder of Our Eternal Movement
“..you shall go out…”
A. We will be moving out of the corruptible body and world (I Cor. 15:51)
B. We will be moving up toward Heaven (I Thes. 4:17)
C. We will be moving into unimaginable surroundings (Rev. 21 & 22)
D. We will be moving into a timeless eternity (Rev. 22:5; I Thes. 4:18)
IV. The Reminder of Unspeakable Joy
“…and grow fat like stall feed calves…”
A. We will have unspeakable joy in fellowship
B. We will have unspeakable joy in worship
C. We will have unspeakable joy in our Savior
