Help Me With This Snake

Summary: Waking up people to what God can do.
HELP ME WITH THIS SNAKE
You may not be like me but I can’t stand snakes I am so afraid of them dead and
alive. They remind me of Satan always wanted to bite you, trying to kill you
somehow. Sneaking around where you can never see them. Hiding in places we
never think of. Do you have any snakes in your Church most people do.
Trying to stir up trouble any way they can no matter who it hurts.
Paul was faced with this when his ship wrecked.
1 And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
***1.Paul couldn’t see the viper he was in the fire.
The Devil always hides where we would never look for him.
Some times he is in some of our best members jut cross them you will see.
Some times we find him in the deacons just watch them.
Some times he gets in our ladies look how the dress.
We often don’t see him till he is forced to come out.
***2. This viper was in the fire .
So many today are in the fire.
You don’t see them till you add wood .
When the blaze goes up there they are in the middle.
***3. He hung on .
There are snakes in the Church that hang on till the tare it up.
Split the church wide open with their venomous bites.
They set in service after service coiled and read to strike.
They hang on until they get their way.
***4. He had hopes that Paul would die.
When the devil gets his fangs in you he wants you to die.
Any way they can some members want you out dead are alive .
People standing around thought Paul would be dead in a short time.
When he is hanging on they wander what you have done.
***5. Shaking the snake off sometimes is hard.
Some snakes are hard to move “we have done it like this 30 years”
Grand Paw build this church .
We been here all our life.
***6.There are a number of Barbarians in the church today also.
This will kill our church.
I am so afraid of we do this we can’t pay the bill .
Watch and see if this works before we get involved .
They just know it will fail be for you start.
Stand back and watch let’s see if it goes.
***7. Now look what has happen boy we can move out.
We need help over here .
Come see what we have done .
We were afraid but look at the out come.
We won after all.
People we just need to shake a few snakes off and some of the others will come back when we are finished.
