Here He Comes!

Summary: Using my "spiritual imagination", show 5 times Jesus comes. 1- To seek sinners, 2- To judge sin, 3- To provide salvation, 4-For the rapture, 5-To setup the Millennium Kingdom
Introduction
I remember an important baseball game in High School. Our best pitcher was either late or missing. We were sweating hard. Then, we saw a
cloud of dust flying up down the road. Then we recognized his car and him driving up!!!! Whew!! Here He Comes, the coach shouted!!
…….. We lost anyway ?
My father was a huge supporter of Dwight D. Eisenhower after the WWII when he ran for President. At one time in the campaign, he came through
Greensboro. My father would have broken through the gates of Hades to get to the rally. As the train came into the train station, the shout went
up, “Here He Comes!”
One more.
My father took me to the GGO when I was a young kid. We “parked” ourselves at a position that had good views of two greens and two tees.
One of the greens was at the end of a dog-leg Par 5. We watched as this Huge, Huge, crowd came around the corner of the Par 5.
It was Arnie’s Army (Arnold Palmer). The cry came up all around the area, “Here He Comes!”
Anyone have any idea what I am going to preach about? Right = Here He Comes!
Here He Comes – Adam and Eve hiding from God in sin and shame
Adam and Eve sinned by eating the fruit of the Tree.
V7 Tried to cover their shame.
V8 Hid themselves from God
My spiritual imagination has Adam saying to Eve, “Here He Comes!”
God is coming to seek his children, even in their sin and shame
Here He Comes – Jesus coming to judge Sodom and Gomorrah
Genesis18:1-8
Abraham is taking a break, sitting in a breeze at his tent door.
Something about one of the three men traveling by caught his eye.
Somehow, someway, he understood that this was the Lord, Himself
V6 My spiritual imagination has Abraham telling Sarah “Here He Comes!”
V7 My spiritual imagination has Abraham telling the servants “Here He Comes!”
God is coming to commune with his child, before judging sinners
Here He Comes – Jesus coming to provide Salvation
John saying to his disciples, “Here He Comes!”
V29 John saw Jesus coming and recognized the Lamb of God coming
God is coming to earth to provide salvation for all mankind
Here He Comes – Saints at the Rapture
Saints saying to one another, “Here He Comes!”
V16 Jesus is coming to “snatch out” his bride from this world
My Imagination has us saying to each other, “Here He Comes!”
God is coming to the atmosphere of earth to call up His ransomed Bride.
Here He Comes – Sinners saying to each other, Here He Comes!”
Revelation 1:7, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth
shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
V19:11 The entire world sees Jesus returning to earth
V1:7 Every eye of everyone WILL see Jesus returning to rule for 1,000 years
My imagination has everyone one earth saying, “Here He Comes!”
God is coming to Jerusalem to rule in righteousness for 1,000 years
Conclusion
Jesus is Coming NOW!
Sinner is HE SEEKING you for salvation?
Sinner is He coming to JUDGE your sin?
Saint is He coming to JUDGE your sin?
