HERE IS CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST

Now lets look at the cross in seven fold

1. Mark 15:32

Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

2. Luke 9:23

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

3. Luke 14:27

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

(1) This is the cross of Glory-----the son of man should be glorified

John 12: 23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified

(2) This is the cross of Blessing ------- corn wheat and fruit

John 12: 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

(3) This is the cross of Discipleship ------the son that loved his life shall loose it

John 12: 25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

(4) This is the cross of great Suffering ----- now his soul is troubled

John :12: 27Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

(5) A cross of Attraction----- Father let me draw them

John 12: 32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

(6) A cross of Condemnation ---- Judgment on the world

John 12: 31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

(7) This is the cross of Expulsion ---- prince of the world cast out

John 12: 31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
