Summary: Trying to maneuver through the labyrinth of this confused world on your own can be a nightmare; trusting and holding His Hands would be the best thing to do!

Hold His Hands!

Psalms 145:16 “You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.”

Kodaikanal is my home town, while traversing the narrow lanes of Kodaikanal, a lovely hilly town, there would be sumptuous berries in the bushes on either side of the road; as a kid when I was not able to reach them, my mom would reach out and get it for me. Even now, if I go with her, she would pluck them (because she knew the knack to keep away from the thorns and get the berries alone) and give it to me. As a mother of two grown up children now, I still watch my mom cook my favorite dishes, stitch lovely, colorful scarves (that I use during prayer meetings) for me with her frail fingers, decorate the house just for me when I visit her – all this she does with those weak, frail fingers. Likewise, God’s Hands would get want you want! Are you listening?

I just cannot control my tears as I get to this portion of writing about the Hands of Jesus that would comfort you, wipe your tears away, embrace you when everybody abandons you, cuddles you when you feel weak, squeezes you when you do something that He delights and much more! I want to take you guys to the shores of Tiberias; Peter, John and the rest of the disciples were dejected, disappointed, discouraged and deeply in sorrow because Jesus their Master had been crucified and to add to the agony they stood there with empty boats and no fishes despite all their smart efforts. Just when you feel like giving up, Jesus would walk in to pick you up! Give HIM a shout of praise please! He deserves it!

Jesus gave them a small tip and said: “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” Boy! When they obeyed they did not find ‘some’ fishes as Jesus said but found abundance! Amen. Abundance follows obedience to His Word! Are you listening? The boats were full of large fishes, 153 of them and most important, the net was not torn! Gorgeous! Peter and the disciples stood there flabbergasted! The next words of Jesus were awesome: "Come and have breakfast." He goes on to serve them bread and fishes that He had just cooked with His own Hands. Imagine! The Creator of the Heaven and Universe bends down to cook for you! Who does this kind of amazing, awe-inspiring things that just blows your mind! I’m overwhelmed by His love! Every kind love of this world gets trumped by this magnificent and glorious love! I stand dumbfounded for words! Enemy, you are defeated, the love of Jesus is able to draw all men unto Him!

I remember one day meditating on this love of Jesus and I sobbed like a kid at His feet! I thanked Him for snatching me away from the hands of the enemy. I thanked Him for washing my sins away with His blood and anointing me to become His servant! In order for us to accomplish what the Lord wants us to do, we must be willing to place ourselves into the Hands of the Almighty God. Placing our lives into the Hands of God is an awesome and wonderful thing for a person to do!

Trying to maneuver through the labyrinth of this confused world on your own can be a nightmare; trusting and holding His Hands would be the best thing to do!
