Summary: Don't give up, the God who has promised is faithful and shall surely deliver

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Topic: *HOPING AGAINST HOPE IN CHRIST JESUS*

Romans 4:17-22 King James Version (KJV)

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Beloved, we serve a God who makes every impossibility possible. We serve a God who creates things out of nothing, we serve a God who gives life back to the dead and this God is a faithful God. He delivers what He promises without fail.

Beloved, our father Abraham, hoped against hope for the manifestation of the promise of God to Him and it happened accordingly. Today we don't hope against hope, *we hope against hope in Christ Jesus*: we hope against a surety that it shall surely come to pass because there are many testimonies not only in the Bible but around us and some which are our sin Christ Jesus, to hold on to and know that if God did this in Christ Jesus by grace then He will surely do what I'm hoping for in Christ Jesus as well by grace.

Beloved, Abraham who hoped against hope had strong faith in God and never wavered in faith but held on to the promise though there was no human or scientific avenue to make the promise happen. The promise, before fulfillment did not make sense, and was as impossible as saying you can jump so high with your bare feet and touch the clouds.

Beloved, Abraham knew all the impossibilities and limitations and everything and every reason why the promise may fail or can fail or would fail or should fail but then he knew more and better the God who has promised so had all the faith that despite all the limitations or reasons of failure the promise shall happen, it shall manifest to the glory of the God who calls the things that are not as though they were, the God who has promised.

Beloved, have hope, be strong in faith like our father Abraham, do not consider your weakness or what you don't have or how impossible the promise or prophecies God has given you are but consider the ever faithful God who is the creator of all things and gives life to dead things, the God who has made the promise. Consider Him and have faith in Him like Abraham did and you will see the manifestation of the promise according to His glory.

Never give up, just hold on to your faith in the Almighty and wait for the promise, it shall not delay it shall surely come. Be patient and wait even if you consider it to delay it shall still come.

Beloved *ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Jesus believed in God and many impossibilities in Israel became possible. Beloved have faith in Jesus, follow His ways and may your story be as His story is, in Jesus, amen.

Prayer: Daddy please help my unbelief and please help me to stay put holding on to your promise and that I never give up on your word. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
