Summary: If you are hurting, let me tell you where you can go to get healed.

HOUSE OF HEALING

1 CORINTHIANS 12:1-11 (NAS)

1. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren I do not want you to be unaware.

2. You know that when you were pagans, you were led astray to the mute idols, however you were led.

3. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the spirit of God says, Jesus is accursed; and no one can say, Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.

4. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.

6. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.

7. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

8. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same spirit.

9. to another faith by the same spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one spirit.

10. And to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

11. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as he wills.

A lot of people in this world have been hurt.

Christians and non-Christians.

They have been hurt by someone in the church.

These people need to understand, they need a healing.

They’ve been wounded; they need to go to the house of healing!

There’s a house we can go to when we’re hurting.

It’s the house of healing, God’s house.

Isn’t the church supposed to be a place where broken hearts get mended?

The church is supposed to reach out and help the afflicted.

We need the Fruit of the spirit of the Spirit in our midst. {Love}

A house of healing is what we’re supposed to be.

Maybe we need to renew our minds.

ROMANS 12:2 (NAS)

2. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

We need to reach out and lead the hurting to the house of healing, JESUS is there.

We need to lead them to Him.

DREAM TUESDAY AFTERNOON 7-1-2003

I dreamed another individual and I were walking. The individual needed a healing. We’re now walking toward a house. I knew in the house, was the healing. As we walked, we stopped at different points to talk about God and His gifts. Finally, we got to the house, we knocked, and a woman answered. I knew the healing was right there.

INTERPRETATION

I believe God wants us to know people are hurting.

This individual was hurting.

He needed a healing on the inside.

This person didn’t need for me to judge him.

Jesus is the judge, they’ll face Him.

These people need to know how we stand on issues, don’t keep drilling, let the Holy Spirit do the convicting.

Show them love, and that we care.

Let them know we feel their hurt, and that through Christ they can be over comers.

I can do what?

All things through whom? Christ!

What does He do?

Which strengthens me?

You can do it!

If you give your hurts to Christ, He’ll give you an inner healing.

We’re now walking toward the house.

In the house, I knew there was healing.

Do we know Jesus today? If we do, we know the great Healer.

As we walked, we stopped at different points to talk about God and His Gifts.

God has different gifts for different people.

1 CORINTHIANS 12:11

11. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as he wills.

As we mature in Christ we need to talk about Gods gifts.

We got to the door at the house and knocked.

The healing was right there.

Jesus has been knocking at our door all along.

REV. 3:20

20. Behold I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come to him and will dine with him, and him with me.

JOHN 5: 13-20 (NAS)

13. But the man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away while there was a crowd in that place.

14. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, behold you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.

15. The man went away, and told the Jews it was Jesus who had made him well.

16. For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath.
