How To Build A Strong Family

Summary: There is no single prescription for a strong family. However there are elements which are common. These elements are grounded in scriptural principles which should inform how we relate to others in the family.

1. You must be a model.

2. You must be a linguist.
22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

3. You must be an apologist.
Practice saying, “I apologize”.

4. You must be a supporter.
12 If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.

5. You must be flexible.

6. You must be a team player.
