Summary: I can Do It. You Can Do It. We Can Do It.

I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Introduction

Fear is the one of the primary factors that is causing many of us to use the words I can’t. Because we are saying we can’t, we find ourselves in the same position we were in for years because we truly believe we cannot. Some of you think you cannot make it on your own. You think you cannot be healed. You think you cannot start this business that you wanted to start a long time ago. You think you do not have any money or anything to proceed so you do not start. You think because of your background, you cannot do it. You did not come from so and so family and so you think you cannot do it.

However, the word of God says that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If God did not give you a spirit of fear, then who or what is causing you to be afraid. It is the enemy causing you to doubt yourself.

This article is to encourage you to be confident knowing that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

Tell yourself I can Do It. I can Do It. Turn to the person next to you and say You can Do It. You Can Do It. Now look at each other and say We Can Do It. We can Do It.

The question then is how can we do it? How can I do it? How can you do it?

Have Faith

You Got to Have Faith. In fact, The opposite of fear is faith. If you keep having fear you will find it very difficult to move ahead. Fear Keeps you Down and Faith Keeps You Up. Turn to the Person next to You, Fear Keeps You Down and Faith Keeps You Up.

If you are afraid, then that means perhaps you do not have faith or you have very little faith. Faith requires you to act and if you are afraid you may not want to act. You may remain in an inactive state. Some of you know what you want so act on it.

If you believe and have faith then you can do it. Tell yourself you can do it. I can do it.

Somebody please read John 5:8

In John 5:8 “The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another stepped down before me.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. John 5:7-9

This man was in that condition for 38 years. When Jesus saw him there, he asked him if he wanted to get well. The man replied saying that he had no one to help him in the pool when the pool is stirred. He said when he tries to go in, someone else went ahead of him.

All Jesus did was tell him to get up, pick up your mat and walk. The man was cured, he picked up his mat and walked.

Some of us perhaps have been in the same state or condition for years. You are afraid or you are waiting on someone to help you or you have given up because you see other people coming ahead of you with the same idea. All you need to do is exercise your faith, get up and walk in authority to your destination. You can Do It.

We will now look at some examples of Faith in the Bible

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”[a] For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised landlike a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she[b] considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
