Summary: Blessings so close, that they could throw a stone and hit them! Like a strong pot of coffee brewing, they could smell it, but not taste it. The word of the Lord said: you’ve been in this place long enough.

He said the B word

As I was working with someone the other day, there was something I was doing that came together and really worked out well for me.

And one of the guys who was there said, you are so lucky,

That was not luck I informed him, I said do you even know where the word luck, gets its root word and its origin from?

From the word lucifer, that’s right, from the father of all lies!

I informed him again, in no way what had happened, had any thing to do with luck.

And then he said it, okay your “blessed”

I couldn’t believe my ears, he said the B word!

The whole world wants to get lucky, only the devil could be so clever,

as to create something that;

*looks like a blessing,

*smells like a blessing,

*walks like a blessing,

*and talks like a blessing

And then have enough nerve to name it after himself.

Years ago, Coca-Cola had a world wide ad campaign, to accept no substitutes, but only the real thing, they even wrote a song about, and attempted to teach the whole world the words, it was very successful

And i ask you, Why would anyone want an imitation of the real thing, when the real thing is available and in abundant supply?

John 10:9,10 NKJ

9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Now we know that the word saved used here, from its root word and origin “sozo”

Which means;

to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health, to preserve one who is in danger of destruction,

The word save, or sozo sure seems all inclusive to me, God made sure it covered it all, didn't He?

The $64 question the world ought to be thinking about is, do you want to get lucky,

or do you want the abundant life blessing God is offering and capable of delivering through His Son Jesus, Grace and Salvation message?

The children of Israel wondered around in the desert, looking for the promised land,

Gods Amazing Grace and Salvation is the worlds promise land and like the children of Israel, their wondering around looking for it,

But the devil has them convinced it can be found in what he has to offer!

James 1:16,17 NKJ

16. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

If its good and if its perfect, it aint from the guy, who’s name coined the word luck, luck has nothing to do with it

Everything good and perfect, comes from God. If aint good and it aint perfect, it aint from God! Amen?

Deut 2:2,3 NKJ

2. And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

3. Ye have skirted this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

You see the Lord was referring to the children of Israel, they had been wondering in the desert for 40 yrs on the way to the promise land.

And what He was saying to them was, I have something better for you,

aren’t you getting tired of the same old thing yet?

Haven’t you been walking around this wilderness long enough?

Don’t you want to experience the change in scenery that I have in store for you?

the promised land that’s been waiting for you all this time.

You’ve skirted this mountain long enough turn you northward.

They just kept doing the same oh, same oh….day after day, year after year...

a continuous circle, a right hand turn at every intersection of life

They would rather pursue the luck of self effort, then to enjoy the blessings God has already placed in their life,

To be found at every intersection along the way!

Blessings so close, that they could throw a stone and hit them!

Like a strong pot of coffee brewing, they could smell it, but not taste it.

The word of the Lord said: you’ve been in this place long enough.

God said it then, and it still holds true today, its time to change your circumstances!

You can you know, because Gods word says it’s possible. And that's more than enough to get the job done

Its time to set a new course, a new plan of action, its time to realize that the change that God can bring about, is gonna do you good!
