I’ve Got A Home How About You?

Summary: We need to know where we are going.
I’VE GOT A HOME HOW ABOUT YOU?
1st Corinthians 5: 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
Do you ever think about home not where you are at now but the here after.
Now; we try to live with no anger, no arguments no cussing no drinking.
Yet there is turmoil all around us on every hand.. bills sickness
1. A new home with total peace.
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Jesus took John away to show him tis great city that God has prepared for all who love him.
2. A place of God’s great love.
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
No corruption no thief’s no hate
My rewards are there weighting for me.
3. A home full of dreams and hope.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4. There will be no need for any thing.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
