Grace God's goodness given to the undeserving.

1. Jesus will elevate you. (See pic in powerpoint, Jesus calling Peter)

Grace loves to give promotions. From fisherman to fisher of men. From working to feed the bellies of men to working to feed the souls of men.

2. Jesus' Grace will pick you up when you have fallen down.

When your faith fails, His love won't fail.

Jesus is more concerned that you get up, than He is with the fact you fell down.

Lu 22:31 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.

Lu 22:32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

Jesus saw past his denials, and saw him encouraging the other disciples, and everyone throughout time who should have known and done better, but by their life and or actions they have denied the Lord. Peter's life message is not only can you come back, but you can do awesome.

4. Jesus' grace will take the violence out of you. & grace will heal the violence done to you.

1st he told Peter to put away his sword, taking the violence out of Peter. Jesus can take the violence out of you. Second he healed Malchus ear showing Peter what Christian ministers were called to do: Bring grace and healing to those who have had violence done to them. It is also a message to people personally hurt by violence, Jesus can put you back together!

5. Jesus' Grace will change you.

Peter the coward spoke boldly on the day of Pentecost to the same people he ran from 2 months earlier. Peter who fled in fear, fearlessly was crucified upside down. Grace will change you!
