Prayer: Almighty God, we thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, as our Redeemer, Antidote for the deadly virus of sin. Help us to live without fear knowing that You are our hope and our victory. Amen.

Introduction: PH. D. Joshua Lederberg says, The single biggest threat to man continued dominance on the planet is the virus.

One comes in and millions come out. A virus searches to kill until nothing to kill. Every cell is dead, searching every victim until nothing to kill.

The Hollywood has been making movies to entertain us with all different kinds of viruses, to name a few; Twelve Monkey; Contagious, Courage of Silence, X Files, Outbreak and many others.

The Hollywood just released a new movie Mission Impossible 2.

Tom Cruise leads his team on a mission to re-capture and destroy a deadly German manufactured virus before it falls into terrorists hands.

Recently we have been attacked by computer viruses such as Melissa, I love you and others. Many malicious programmers created viruses to launch the cyber-attack.

Everyday we are bombarded with different kinds of viruses from media virus, newspaper virus, computer virus, stomach virus and others.

But one of the viruses that we have overlooked since the beginning of creation is Sin. Whether we realize it or not; there is a deadly virus inside of our bodies, minds and souls. We can not put this virus on the microscope. Neither can we see with our physical eyes nor touch this virus with our hands. It is invisible. But it is the most contagious virus of all viruses. It is the deadly virus of all viruses.

I. Roman 5:12 says, Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. Another translation says, Death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Some very sick individual has succeeded in using the reformat function from Norton Utilities causing it completely erase all documents. I love you virus scrolls through the users address book and attached itself to all addressees.

It has been estimated the damages caused by the I Love You Virus and other viruses between $93 million and $385 million in damages to 1.2 million computers.

Sin is like this virus. It scrolls through our lives and attaches itself to others. It is contagious virus of all viruses.

In Washington today the White House classified AIDS as a serious threat to America national security. Eleven million people already dead in central and southern Africa. 23 million HIV infected. The president requested for $254 million to fight AIDS overseas?

About six thousands years ago at the Garden of Eden, the Devil launched a deadly virus of all viruses to attack the human races who have been on this planet since the day of creation.

It destroys our lives, bodies, minds and souls, our families and marriages. It steals our happiness and everything that we have.

All human races have been living in fear and hopeless of this deadly virus since the beginning of creation. Once sin has gained entrance into the human family, death follows.

James 1:15 says, Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death. All human beings are in danger. It can strike anyone of us down. It is the most silent killer of all killers. The day that we were born into this world, we were conceived with this deadly virus of sin inside of our bodies, minds and souls. Psalm 51:5 David says, Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Roman 6:23 declares, The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

II. Galatians 4:4-5 says, But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Clinton administration officials said that the FBI has quickly traced the "Love Bug" computer virus to the Philippines. I am glad that the heavenly FBI, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, traced the most deadly virus of all viruses in the Garden of Eden.

In the Out Break movie one of the ways to contain and exterminate the virus from spreading to other towns was to drop a bomb destroying everybody in a community. In order to contain this deadly virus of sin and prevent the virus from spreading to all human races, God the Father did not exterminate the whole human race. But He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the little town of Bethlehem, to die on the cross of Calvary for you and me.
